CE Deptt. of UIET Celebrated Eid-Ul - Duha

24-09-2015

Eid-Ul - Duha is an important event for Muslims. It is one of the two religious bairams in Islam. The celebration of this event is an opportunity for social gathering and joy sharing among Muslims. Celebrating multifarious cultures and festivals symbolizes the unity of an international community, which our Department takes pride in.

To commemorate the occasion of Eid-Ul - Duha, the students of 3rd, 5th and 7th semesters prepared a PowerPoint presentation enlightening the students about the spirit behind the festival.

This was followed by a different cultural activities namely solo song performance, guitar performance, poem recitation and dance performances. Apart from that, faculty members also give their singing performances. The HOD, Er. Kshipra Gupta addressed the assembly accentuating the fact that most religions perpetuate similar tenets and wished “Eid Mubarak” to all. At the end, everybody relished the refreshment.
