Applied Science & MBA deptt. organised Professional Competition

The Applied Science department and MBA department celebrated 'Professional Competition'  in Universal Group of Institutions, Ballopur on 19th Oct. 2015 in the college campus. In it, Debate competition was held between the participants of both the departments. The H.O.D’s of both the departments: Mr. Vikas Sharma, H.O.D Applied Sciences and Dr. Puja Vij,H.O.D MBA , faculty members and students were present there. The topics for the debate were:

1. Does social networking sites have a harmful impact on society?

2. Does money motivates people more than any other factor in the workplace?

The judges for the event were: Dr. Puja Vij, Mr. Vikas Sharma and Ms. Kshipra Gupta,H.O.D Civil department. For the topic Does social networking sites have a harmful impact on society? the participants Arnav , Alex and Jag Jeevan- Team A from App. Sc . spoke in favor of the motion while the participants from MBA department: Bikas, Nirmal and Abid- Team B were against the motion. Both the teams put their arguments in a very forceful manner. They spoke about various impacts of social networking sites on the society. Moving ahead, for the topic Does money motivates people more than any other factor in the workplace? the participants from MBA department; Harjap, Shilpa and Aushaq- Team C spoke in favor of the motion while the participants Simran, Vikas and Santosh- Team D from App. Sc. spoke against the motion. Again, both the teams put their arguments in a very effective and convincing manner. Team A from App. Sc. department and Team C from M.B.A department were declared the winner of the competition. Certificates were awarded to the winners and the event came to an end with a note of encouragement by Dr. Puja Vij to the students to participate in such competitions as it provide a sharpen edge to their professional skills .
