Virsa’15 – Cultural Fest

Universal Group of Institutions, Lalru spectacular annual Cultural fest concluded on a perfect note as it staged a pulsating performance by sensational panjabi singer Ammy Virk, Panjab’s heart throbbing star and a mesmerizing performance by Laughter King Rana Ranbir. He shared his thoughts with youth to stop female foeticide and also said to stand against and stop drug addiction. He concluded that one should be thankful to the almighty for giving us such a beautiful life. The campus vibrated with energy and swayed to the musical and dance performances presented by young buddies. Around 3000 students marked the success of the event. Bhangra, Malwai Giddha, Dandia, Rajasthani dance, all folk dances and western dances were really a treat for the audience at UGI. Shri K P Sharma, poltical advisor to MLA Derabassi, Shri Anil Kumar, SP PPS Derabassi, S. Nirmal Singh, Chairman Punjab Group of Colleges, Chunni Kalan and other reputed dignitaries chaired the function as the Chief Guest for Virsa’15. Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Chairman UGI concluded that VIRSA’15 was aimed at providing an incredible platform for all the students to showcase their talents and creativity which could imbibe in them various skills for their growth and development.
