Industrial Visit to ETE Electrogears Pvt. Limited
The students of Mechanical Engineering of Universal Group of Institutions, Lalru along with one faculty member visited ETE Electrogears Pvt. Limited, Derabassi, Punjab on 28 January 2015.No.of students = 33

They are manufacturer, exporters & importers of Electrical Control Panels as Per IS & IEC Standards. Product Range: - PCC/MCC/PDB, AC & DC Drives Panels, Capacitor Panel, Bus ducts, Intelligent MCC etc. Clients Include:- Big Cinemas, Steel Strips, Vardhaman, Nahar, Trident, Ranbaxy, Escorts, Eicher, Bhushan Steel among others.
This visit gave students an opportunity to interact with the processes of fabrication of sheet metal for various types of electrical control unit panels. Students got an understanding of the various processes undertaken while being guided through a perfect interactive tour by company employees. The students were impressed with the process execution in the plant & by the efficient, smooth running systems.
