UGI organised a Joint Campus Placement Drive on 19th March 2015.

Universal Group of Institutions, Lalru organised Campus Placement Drive with Birla Sun Life was held on 19th March 2015 at. The placement drive was held exclusively for Management Students (MBA/ BBA). The job profile offered by Birla Sun Life to the candidates was Agency Manager. The companies offered packages upon their skills and talents companies have offered good packages starting from 1.5 lacs up to 3.5 lacs.

At the beginning of the Drive, Chairman, Universal Group, Dr Gurpreet Singh addressed all the candidates by extending his good wishes to the candidates. He said that this year the number of vacancies and packages have improved from previous years. He further urged the candidates to compete and make proper use of their skills to grab these opportunities. The drive was started with the pre-placement talk followed by aptitude test.

TPO, Universal Group, Mr. Ravi Pratap Singh said that around 150 eligible candidates from various Universities and Colleges not only of Chandigarh but other states like Haryana, HP, JK, UP, Rajasthan etc. also came to participate in this joint campus placement drive. Mr. Singh expressed his great joy at the remarkable success of the drive and said with the unceasing efforts of the Management, staff and students the group, Universal Group is successfully completing the placement drives with remarkable presence of companies.

Director, Universal Group, Dr. Rachit Garg congratulated the selected students and wished them the best for their near future. He further said that the reason behind this successful placement drive is a strong academic base & conduction of regular classes with interactive session. He further mentioned that apart from providing good education to the students it’s the responsibility of every College to facilitate its students with good job opportunities. The institutions should inculcate in them with business ideas, entrepreneurship and develop skills which will help them finding a suitable job.
