On March 31st 2015, Universal Institute of Engineering and Technology conducted workshop entitled Networking of Computers by Mr. Anil Kumar from UIET. He told that computer network consists of a collection of computers, printers and other equipment that is connected together so that they can communicate with each other. He also focused on explaining how the Internet works, ranging from how bits are modulated on wires and in wireless to application-level protocols like Bit Torrent and HTTP and also explained the principles of how to design networks and network protocols. The B.Tech first year students also came to know about the types and benefits of computer networking. Students got the opportunity to participate in it and they also asked questions regarding networking of computers under the guidance of Mr. Anil. At the last, Mr. Sarabjeet from Applied Science department thanked Mr.Anil.
