UGI celebrated International Day of Biological Diversity on May 22, 2015. During the event the expert talk on biological diversity delivered by Dr. Vishal Sharma, Associate Professor, Govt. College for Girls, Sector-11, Chandigarh.

Dr. Sharma stressed to conserve the biological diversity, especially plants for sustainable development of mankind. He also aware the audience about worst effect of declining biodiversity. The audience including teachers and students interacted  enthusiastically during the lecture.


Dr. L.K. Attri, HOI concluded the session and apprised the audience about the importance of the day.

Dr. Kompal, Vice Principal of DSGCE thanks Dr. Sharma for delivering such educative lecture.

At the end of the event, vote of thanks extended by Dr. Gaurav Sachar (Assistant Professor).
