UCACS organised a AGRICULUTRAL VISIT TO PUNJAB AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY (KISSAN MELA), LUDHIANA

The students and 2 faculty members went to agricultural visit on 25th September 2015 at Punjab Agricultural University (Kissan Mela), Ludhiana. They departed from the college at 7:00 am early in the morning and reached there around 10:30 am. After reaching the University campus, the students have visited the Kissan Mela where they saw different agricultural crops, their seeds, various breeds of buffaloes, pigs and poultry.
The experts have elaborated them the use of cattle in the agriculture fields over there. The students were also awared about how the semens of different cattle are stored. The students also visited different agricultural fields including Agronomy, Vegetable Science, Horticulture, Seed processing unit and also various research farms. The student had enriching experience while in the mela. They also prepared their personal notes regarding the information they have collected. They started back at 2:30 pm and reached the college campus at 5:00pm.
