UGI organized a Placement Drive on 22nd December, 2015

Universal Group of Institutions, Lalru organized Joint Campus Placement Drive with Micromax, eClerx Services Ltd, Pranav Doors & Windows and Competent Synergies which was held on 22nd December 2015 at the campus. The placement drive was held for Students of B.Tech/ Diploma/ BBA/ B.Com/ BA/ B.Sc and MBA. There were various job profiles offered by these companies to the candidates. The companies offered packages upon their skills and talents. Companies have offered good packages starting from 1.5 lacs up to 2.5 lacs PA.

At the beginning of the Drive, Chairman, Universal Group, Dr Gurpreet Singh addressed all the candidates by extending his good wishes to the candidates. He said that this year the number of vacancies and packages have improved from previous years. He further urged the candidates to compete and make proper use of their skills to grab these opportunities. The drive was started with the pre-placement talk followed by aptitude test.

Asst.TPO, Universal Group, Mr. Ravi Pratap Singh said that around 250+ eligible candidates from various Universities and Colleges not only of Chandigarh but other states like Haryana, HP, JK, UP, Rajasthan etc. also came to participate in this joint campus placement drive. Mr. Singh expressed his great joy at the remarkable success of the drive and said with the unceasing efforts of the Management, staff and students the group, Universal Group is successfully completing the placement drives with remarkable presence of companies.

Dean, Universal Group, Ms. Shweta Sharma congratulated the selected students and wished them the best for their near future. She further said that the reason behind this successful placement drive is a strong academic base & conduction of regular classes with interactive session. She further mentioned that apart from providing good education to the students it’s the responsibility of every College to facilitate its students with good job opportunities. The institutions should inculcate in them with business ideas, entrepreneurship and develop skills which will help them finding a suitable job.
