Universal College, Ballopur organised one day NSS camp activities on February 11, 2016.


Universal College, Ballopur organised one day NSS camp activities on February 11, 2016. The event started with Poster making competition where students from different streams participated in this competition. The competition was based upon the theme of Drug Addiction & Women Empowerment. The posters made by the students were displayed in the Seminar Hall. The competition was judged by panel of three members. The best posters were awarded with certificates & gifts by the head of the institution, Dr. L.K. Attri.

In the second session of the event, NSS volunteers conducted a rally on cleanliness drive. The rally was flagged off by the Chairman, Dr. Gurpreet Singh. He motivated the students to work for welfare of the society. He also promised to provide required facilities to support NSS activities. The students then proceed with their posters in the college campus and to the nearby Village, Ballopur. During the rally, they have picked up polythene and wastes and also awared the villagers to clean their places. NSS programme Officer Mr. Sunil Kumar and all the faculty members of Universal College were also along with the rally.
