Applied Science Deptt. of UIET organized an Industrial visit to Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala On 5th March 2016

On 5th March 2016, Applied Science Department of Universal Institute of Engineering and Technology organized an Industrial visit for their students to Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala. The objective of this visit was to provide an exposure to the students for science.Mr. Sarabjeet Singh and Ms. Vandana Jaiswal, faculty Applied Science accompanied the students .They started from the college campus at 6:00 am and reached the science city at 1:00 pm. Over there students had enjoyed many shows related to science such as Climate show, Laser show , Dome Theatre show and 3D show. In Dome Theatre show students acquired the knowledge about our solar system. In 3D show the students had an amazing experience of exploring the techniques of science . Everybody had a very thrilling experience of Laser Light show. The students enjoyed Model of dinosaur, GSLV missile, Energy education Park, Health gallery showing the variety of exhibits related to biological concepts and came to know about various developments in the field of Science and Technology. As an outcome, the amazing science city triggered the creativity in the young minds and aided them in developing a scientific temper. The students had a blend of education and fun. At 6:00 pm they left for the college.
