CSE Deptt. of UIET and UPC organised a Technical Workshop on Network Security

The Workshop started with presentation on data security and the options in the field of security. First Ms. Janpreet Bedi gave presentation to students about desktops security and provided tips and tricks to save desktop data from USB and how to secure various drives on desktop. This session includes various demonstrations to protect the desktop data.
Then the presentation on network security began which included terms used in networks like routers switches and the courses related to network security and also demonstrated few examples related to Network Security, Cyber security, Ethical hacking and Security management. It included brief sessions on how to secure network from hackers. In this way students gain immense knowledge on various types of securities .After this motivational workshop HOD CSE Ms.Priyanka Mehta and faculty gave vote of thanks to all and presented a momento to Janpreet Kaur and Shilpa Sharma.
