ME Deptt. celebrated "Engineer's Day" on 15 Sept, 2016

Mechanical Engineering Department celebrated "Engineer’s Day" and awarded hard efforts of Engineers on 15 Sep 2016 in college premises. On this occasion Dr. Swati Sharma, Principal, UIET and Mr. R.K Kapoor, HOD/ Training & Placement Officer, UGI were invited as chief guests. M.E. Department coordinated this event with team of Center of Excellence. In Inauguration, Top 3 students of 5 th and 7 th sem from Mechanical Engineering Branch were felicitated by prizes and certificates. A Poster Making Competition was also organized and it was leaded by Asst. Prof Gaurav Grover. 26 students participated in this event.
And students were specially awarded by Certificates of participation. Top 3 Students of poster making competition were awarded by Chief Guests. The Speech and Poetry were also a part of this function. Consolation prizes were given to the participated students in Speech and Poetry. This event helped students to get aware of basic problems in surroundings and it’s solving technique. This event was highly appreciated by Principal UIET and other staff members.
