UGI sponsored the team for the Football Tournament organised by Manipur United Football Club on 15 th Feb. 2018. 15 students under The College Club- Ojas, Universal Group of Institutions, Lalru were sponsored by the College Management to participate in the Football tournament organised by Manipur United Football Club on 15 th February 2018 at the Punjab University campus premises. Dr. Swati Sharma, Principal, Universal Institute of Engineering and Technology met all the players and addressed the candidates by extending her good wishes to them. Mr. Ravi Pratap Singh, Assistant Training and Placement Officer, Universal Group of Institutions said that Sportsmanship is a deeper understanding and this was the first time when the students of different states of India pursuing their degrees in Universal Group have joined hands as a team and played a match outside our own institutional campus. He also said that the students were thankful to the college management for sponsoring their match.
