UIN celebrated Nurses day with the theme of "A voice to lead- Health is Human Right"

Universal Institute Of Nursing celebrate nurses day 2018 with the theme of "A voice to lead-Health is Human Right”. The guest of the day was Dr Sangeeta Jain (senior medical officer derabassi), who is serving for humanity from last 24 years and Nursing Superitendent Mrs Dalwinder kaur. The celebration was started with lamp lightning as tribute to god, however Florence Nightingale was also known as "The Lady with The Lamp" she provides 24hrs services to the needy people even in night with her lamp. The day was celebrated in UGI with Dr Gurpreet Singh (Chairman of UGI) ,Dr Sharanjeet Singh Dhillon (Campus Director), Ms Prabhjot kaur jolly (Director Academics),Mrs Samta Rani (Principal UIN) all HOI,s and nursing faculty. Dr Sangeeta Jain and all dignitaries give their views regarding nurses day. Nursing students prepared many cultural activities and one of the important is skit on save the girl child.
At the end of the celebration felicitation of the guest was done by Dr Sharanjeet Singh Dhillon and Ms Prabhjot Kaur jolly. Nurses day was celebrated by nursing department under the guidance of Mrs Samta Rani and all nursing faculty.
