UGI organised Joint Campus Placement Drive by Maruti Suzuki

Universal group of Institutions, Lalru organized "Placement Drive - Dealers Program" by Maruti-Suzuki on 18 th & 20 th June 2018 for the students of BA/ B.Com/ Diploma in which 6 students got selected at the package of 1.20 LPA. Director (Admission), Universal Group, Ms. Prabjot Jolly addressed all the participating students by extending her good wishes to the candidates. She said, "We are very happy with the response we have received from the corporate with a larger and more diverse base of recruiters than ever before. This is testament to the confidence of our corporate partners in the quality of our graduates and we look forward to serving their talent needs in the years to come" Dr. Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Director (Campus) at Universal Group, said that this year the number of vacancies and packages have been improving from previous years. He further urged the candidates to compete and make proper use of their skills to grab these opportunities to push the Indian growth on the global arena. The drive was started with a pre-placement talk followed by aptitude test conducted by Mr. Raj Kumar. The first round of placement drive was conducted on 18 th June 2018 at the main campus of Universal Group of Institutions, Lalru.
Chairman, Universal Group, Dr. Gurpreet Singh expressed his great joy at the remarkable success of the drive and said with the unceasing efforts of the Management, staff and students the group. Dr. Gurpreet Singh also congratulated the Placement Cell of the Group for putting round the clock efforts for this Placement Drives. He said that such Placement Drives offer a tremendous opportunity to the students who manage finding a job that fits their requirements and profile. He congratulated the shortlisted candidates and wished them the best for their near future. The final round was conducted by Mr. Gurdeep Singh Lubana – Sr. Manager, Dealer Program at Maruti-Suzuki interacted with students and took individual interviews of the candidates who participated in the drive. There were more than 21 students from UGI and 85 candidates from other colleges who sat for the interview and 6 UGI students will be receiving the call letter shortly.
