Universal Group of Institutions (Lalru) organised its Orientation Day 2018

Today, Universal Group of Institutions (Lalru) organised its 'Orientation 2018' to perform formal welcome of the entire fresher student for the session 2018 onwards. At the very first, Principal UIP (Dr.) Vimal kumar represented a presentation of the beautiful campus on behalf of the Universal Group of Institutions. He highlighted the overview of the campus including its vision and mission statements, Various Institutions of UGI and their affiliations, centre of excellences, tie-ups with national and international companies and a quick view of Hon’ble Chairman of the campus.

 

Moving further, Hon'ble chairman (Dr.) Gurpreet Singh addressed to all. He described his vision of par excellence towards the value education. By organizing this Event, Dr. Gurpreet Singh showed to all fresher students that he has a very clear visionary ideology regarding to provide Technical and Non-Technical Education with an International infrastructure and highly skilled team of faculty members. He empowered the main moto of Universal group of Institutions which is Learn, Achieve and Excel only to produce the first class citizens for our country through a value based Technical and Non- Technical education.

 

In addition, (Dr.) Gurpreet Singh told, we are living in a very competitive era, so every student must be dedicated and hardworking towards their studies in order to achieve something valuable. He said that we have only life to live. We need to decide it today that what potential we have and where we can have the optimum utilization of this potential and energy. He added that every student must have a very clear goal to achieve in this life. During this golden phase of life every student must transfer their goal into futuristic reality. Whereas, while sharing his views on digital India and transforming India in front of the Youth of nation,(Dr.) Gurpreet Singh mentioned that today every student need to work individually at their own
in order to reach at the peak of their life.

 

In addition to this, various renowned personalities were also presented. Icons of the day were respected Chief Guest, (Padam Shri Awarded) Professor (Dr.) Satish Kumar (Director NIT Kurukshetra) and Distinguish Guest Dr. Rajender Deshwal (NIT, Kurukshetra). Dr. Satish Kumar addressed to the student and shared his 35 years of experience among the fresher students. He focused on hard work, and honesty while addressing to all the new comers. He mentioned that todays’ generation must learn to work in a team in order to bring a huge change for tomorrow. He said that students should keep their aspirations very high because “sky is the limit” for the imaginations. While concluding his words, he said that the combination of dedication and scarcity always fetch new invention. He wished all the very best wishes to the fresher student for their bright future.

 

Apart from this, Dr. Rajender Deshwal (NIT Kurukshetra) also shared his views among the student. He said that students must work to find out the solutions about the current and up-coming problems because todays’ problem will bring the solution for future as well. He also wished all the very best to students for their bright future.

 

At the end, Hon’ble chairman (Dr.) Gurpreet Singh and Campus Director (Dr.) Shranjeet Singh Dhillon gave token of love and respect to the respected guests of the day and pay tribute a vote of thank to them.
