UGI Organised three days Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (under DST-NIMAT, India) from 05.09.18 to 07.09.2018,

A three days Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (under DST-NIMAT, India) is being organised by Universal Group of Institutions, Lalru from 05.09.18 to 07.09.2018, inside its’ campus in the seminar hall of block 'A'. As, today was the second day of this EAC, which was being organised by Universal Group of Institutions, Lalru. This camp has shown the very transparent vision of Hon’ble Chairman (Dr.) Gurpreet Singh towards providing suitable futuristic placements and entrepreneurship opportunities for students besides formal education.

 

In addition, this second day was comprised into two sessions which were being chaired by two distinguished guest speakers namely (Dr.) Anupam Sharma, Assistant Professor, Thapur Institute of Engineering and Technology, (for 1st session) and Mr. Amardev Singh, Assistant Professor, EDC Dept in NITTTR, Chandigarh (for 2nd session). Further, Worthy Campus Director Prof. (Dr.) Shranjeet Singh Dhillon, respected Director Training and Placement (Dr.) Prabhjot Kaur, respected Principal Engineering UIET (Dr.) Tarun Kumar Lohani, Principal
UPC, (Dr.) S. Malik and respected faculty members from App Sci, ME, CSE, CE, EE were presented during this second day whereas more than hundred students did participate in todays’ sessions. Moving further, in 1st session (Dr.) Anupam Sharma delineated principles, objectives, characteristics and success stories of renowned entrepreneurs via PPTs in front of the participants. She mentioned in her lecture that how students can become job provider instead of job seekers. Dr. Anupam Sharma told students that how Harpreet kaur (founder, 'Love 4 Apple'), Mahesh Gupta (founder, 'RO') Kailash Khosla (founder, 'Quick Heal') and five other people became well renowned entrepreneurs in their life. She also provided a kind of case study upon the life time entrepreneur achievers of our country.

 

At the end (of 1st session) students made this session very interesting by putting questions to therespected guest speaker. This session let very positive remarks upon the participant of this session. Respected Director Training and Placement (Dr.) Prabhjot Kaur pay tribute a vote of thank to the guest speaker of 1st session. On the other hand in 2nd session, Mr. Amardev Singh shared his academic as well as entrepreneurship experience with participants. He did briefing of the various types of entrepreneurship among participants. Mr. Amardev Singh has shown some short videos which were specially prepared on life of the best entrepreneurs. He further visualized multi types of short entrepreneurships strategies which students can start at the very start-up in their life.

 

Finally, respected Principal Engineering UIET (Dr.) Tarun Kumar Lohani pay tribute a vote of thank to the guest speaker of the 2nd session and all the faculty members and student participant were distributed certificates for their participation in this camp.
