Universal group of Institution in Collabation with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Delhi) organized Virtual Laboratories workshop on September 13 th -14 th , 2018, which witnessed the participation of 34 faculty members and 217 Students from Universal Group of Institutions. A total of Nine stream based virtual laboratories were demonstrated by the Expert from IIT Delhi named Mr. Prateek Sharma and Mr. Ashish Moudgil. This initiative by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India, National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT) is highly benefitting to the Technical colleges nationwide. As a reward to efforts of Universal Group of Institutions, our two technical Colleges i.e. Universal Polytechnic College and Universal Intitute of Engineering and technology has been designated as Nodal Centres of Virtual Lab by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). A very positive feedback from the participants confirm that the module of enhanced learning via utilization of web-based experiments is certainly a boon to the upliftment of the quality of Diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate education as required for country’s progress. And marking as an end to the two days workshop on Virtual Labs, certificates were distributed to the participants.
