Universal Institute of Pharmacy Organised an Industrial Visit to Panacea Biotec Limited

Universal Institute of Pharmacy, Mohali is celebrating National Pharmacy Week and in series of events during this celebration, on day second the students participated in poster completion on the theme "Say No to Self Medication". In this poster competition students had shown their creativity and tried to deliver their thoughts to educate about drawbacks of self medication. In succession to this a literary quiz was organized in the campus in which pharmacy students participated with full enthusiasm and represented their intellect. In the second half of Day-2 the Pharmacy students visited Panacea Biotec Limited, Lalru plant for industrial exposure. During this visit the students came across various industrial equipment set-up and processes for manufacturing of variety of Pharmaceutical Products. The technica staff of Panacea Biotec had shared various facts and fundaments of Pharmaceutical Product Manufacturing, especially antibiotics. During this intellectual event students learnt about key processes like Product Processing, Quality Control, and Packaging etc. The Chairman of Universal Group of Institutions Dr. Gurpreet Singh in his blessings to the students emphasized over industrial exposure, and motivated the students to work more on their technical skills. Director Academics Universal Group of Institutions Dr. (Mrs.) Verinder Kaur guided the students about their responsibilities towards society and nation; being technocrats from such a  oble profession.
