Students of Universal college of Education and Universal college of Arts, Commerce and Science Visited Gyan Gurukul Special Children School, Derabassi on 9 th Nov, 2019. Mr Sumeet Kumar, the principal established this school in 2005.The principal and faculty  have backgrounds in health and community outreach. They were happy to make a difference in the quality of these children’s lives. Mr. Mohit Bhardwaj ,Mr.Satish Kumar and Ms. Amir Jahan were along with the students.

Our students interacted and played with the children to make them feel that they are not alone in this world. Students cut the cake with them and donated their daily routine things. Students also presented the physically challenged students with gifts which made them happy. Students were amazed to see the ways in which they challenged cope with life. After the visit, the students realized that it was not the sympathy that was required but motivation and helping hands which made them feel one among all.
