Universal Group of Institutions celebrated Lohri with the theme "Work together for a safe & healthy workplace". Universal group of institutions celebrated Lohri with much joy and enthusiasm keeping in mind all the necessary precautionary measures of COVID 19. The mood of the campus was upbeat and the students were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. This year it’s celebrated with the theme “Work together for a safe & healthy workplace”. Dr. Gurpreet Singh Chairman, Universal Group of Institutions, in the presence of all dignitaries, Directors, Principals of different institutions, HODs, staff & students worshipped ‘Dhooni’. The programme started with ‘Lohri Poojan’. Speaking on the occasion Chairman, Dr. Gurpreet Singh wished that may the coming year would bring the happiness in the lives of the all human beings. Both students and teachers participated in all the activities organised for the celebration of Lohri. Programmes like dances, songs and games were the point of attraction in the occasion. The occasion prompts people to be thankful for God’s provision and to celebrate his creations. UGI fraternity, faculty, staff & students, were dressed in traditional attires following the very essence of the day.
