Universal Group of Institutions organized webinar on the topic of Virtual Courts v/s Formal Courts During Covid-19 Lockdown on 15 May 2021. Hon’ble Adv. I.S. Ratta(Punjab and Haryana High Court ), Adv. Amit Rana(Former co-chairman, Bar council of India), Adv. Gagan Pardeep Singh Bal(Former standing council for Punjab Government in Hon’ble Supreme court of India )who was the guest speaker delivered a lecture. All the three esteemed panelists agree that virtual courts are the need of the time keeping in view the social distancing norms and best health practices to curtail COVID-19 pandemic but they all believed, conventional courts are more approaching and accessible for rendering justice.
