SEMINAR ON DESIGN TRENDS IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
Department of Mechanical Engineering (UPC) organised a Seminar on 11 Sep 2014 where Er. Hardeep Singh COO (Chief Operating officer) in Btechskills.com gave an introductory seminar in Computer Aided Design/Solid Modelling and how these skills help in getting placed in a reputed organisation. There are many areas of Computer Aided Design covering a huge range of tools and techniques for the modelling and analysis of most every design discipline. This seminar provides an introduction to mechanical design using AUTO CAD, 3D solid modelling, CATIA, Solid Works, etc. This is the type of software tool that a mechanical diploma holder would use to design a machine or an industrial designer would use in creating a consumer product. This software can also be accessed in android mobile phones using play store. Main key points of Seminar are:-
- Shortcut your commands into one or two keystrokes.
- Make the function keys (F1) and the [Ctrl] keys work for you.
- Edit and create toolbars and fly outs to reduce repetitive tasks by grouping multiple commands under one button.
- Add commands to AutoCAD by using Auto LISP
