Universal Institute of Nursing organized a seminar on topic "Bio-Medical Waste Management" on dated 30 th September, 2021. Firstly at 11:00 am seminar was started. Welcome of chief guest Dr. Anita Sharma was done at 11:00 am and then the session was started. Firstly HOD Madam addressed the chief guest. Dr. Anita Sharma who is working as a Micro-Biologist in Fortis Hospital Mohali. She delivered a lecture on infection control and practice that was very useful for whole department. She also told safe hygiene practices including hand washing and Universal Precautions. The whole session was very interesting and interactive in which all the students participated actively and asked many questions related to the concerned topics. And then HOD of Universal Institute of Nursing, distributed the Award of appreciation to the Chief Guest and all the participants in making this event successful. At the end of the session Ms. Poonam Malhotra, HOD of Universal Institute of Nursing gave vote of thanks to the Chief Guest and all the participants of seminar who spared their valuable time for this Seminar.
