UGI celebrated Engineers day - ME department of UIET had organized the event.

Mechanical Engineering Department, UIET, Lalru celebrated Engineers Day on 15 September, 2014 in seminar hall in the institute.
On this great day, a quiz competition was organised between the students of various streams. The quiz competition was based on technical and general awareness. A documentary was also shown to the students and staff members regarding the achievements of engineering and magnificent tasks done by Sir Mokhshagundam Visvesvaraya. Director of the Institute also encouraged this activity, also distributed certificate of excellence to the students who got positions in the quiz competition. Staff and hundreds of students of the Institute were present in this event.
